At the midday close, China’s domestic futures main contracts were mostly higher.
Palladium jumped nearly 6%; coke, platinum and Shanghai silver rose over 3%;
lithium carbonate, Shanghai tin, apples and hogs gained more than 2%. Decliners
included SC crude and LPG, each down over 5%; low-sulfur fuel oil (LU) and fuel
oil down over 4%; propylene fell about 2%; polypropylene monthly-average,
polypropylene and Asia–Europe container freight contracts eased more than 1%.
