Wall Street Journal reports SpaceX president Gwynne Shotwell said investors should recognize the company is doing "highly futuristic" work and, while watching the current quarter, should also be focused on the future.

On June 12 at the 2026 ZhiYuan Conference, ZhiYuan Research Institute director Wang Zhongyuan unveiled Wujie Physis-v0.1, which the institute describes as the world’s first general-purpose world foundation model. The model is said to feature four core properties—physical correctness, traceable action causality, long-range consistency and broad generalization—and is applicable to robotics, video generation, gaming and industrial-physics use cases, serving as a base model for embodied intelligence and heavy industrial applications.
