China Academy of Information and Communications Technology (CAICT) held a seminar on Trusted Token cloud services on June 10, 2026, and formally launched a Token Cloud Service Quality and Empowerment Evaluation Plan. Senior attendees included Chinese Academy of Engineering academician Zheng Weimin, CAICT chief engineer He Baohong and Li Wei, acting deputy director of CAICT’s Cloud Computing and Digitalization Research Institute. CAICT and more than a dozen firms — including Tianyi Cloud, Alibaba Cloud, Huawei Cloud, JD Cloud, Lenovo, Stepfun, Kingsoft Office and Qingcheng Jizhi — initiated the plan and published multiple deliverables.

June 12 — At a Shanghai government briefing on the 2026 Lujiazui Forum, Zhou Xiaoquan, executive deputy director of the Shanghai Municipal Financial Office, said Shanghai will strengthen its role as an open financial hub and prioritize measures to improve cross-border finance quality and efficiency and to drive breakthroughs in offshore financial innovation to better support outbound enterprises and Belt and Road Initiative projects. Officials from PBOC Shanghai, the Office of the National Financial Regulatory Administration and the CSRC Shanghai bureau attended.
