A mass shooting in Midland, Texas, on the morning of the 12th left two dead,
including the shooter, and 10 wounded, Mayor Lori Blong said. Local authorities
later confirmed the shooter was dead; the scene remains secured and under
investigation. Police have not disclosed the cause of the shooter's death. US
media reported the attack occurred at multiple locations and that the shooter
was contained inside a building after a standoff with police.
