To guide financial information service providers on data classification, grading
and identification of important data and to strengthen financial information
data security, the Cyberspace Administration of China, the People’s Bank of
China, the National Financial Regulatory Administration, the China Securities
Regulatory Commission, the National Bureau of Statistics and the State
Administration of Foreign Exchange jointly issued the Guidelines on
Classification and Grading of Financial Information Service Data, under the
Cybersecurity Law, Data Security Law, Personal Information Protection Law, the
Regulations on Network Data Security Management and the Regulations on the
Administration of Financial Information Services.
