HEZBOLLAH fired rockets at an Israeli military position near Maroun al-Ras in southern Lebanon.

Saudi state TV reports the Israeli military is preparing to respond should ground operations in southern Lebanon be halted. The report says Israeli forces will not withdraw from the security zone under an agreement with Iran.

On the 13th the IDF Arabic-language spokesman posted a social-media evacuation order warning of imminent airstrikes and directing residents of 20 Lebanese areas to move north of the Zahrani River. The IDF accused HEZBOLLAH of violating a ceasefire and said it was "forced" to take strong action. Air-raid sirens sounded in parts of northern Israel on the 12th-13th, and the Israeli Air Force said it repeatedly intercepted hostile airborne objects crossing from Lebanon into Israel.
