Iran's Supreme National Security Council said it will, effective tonight, immediately and permanently cease all combat and military operations, including in Lebanon.

Lebanese media reported on the 15th that an enemy drone struck a car in Taibnit village in Lebanon, wounding occupants. Taibnit and other localities were also hit by enemy shelling.

June 15 — Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesperson Lin Jian, at a regular briefing, rejected a Lowy Institute report that said China’s hypersonic weapons buildup increases its ability to strike Australia. Lin said he had noted the report and reiterated that China pursues peaceful development; its military expansion is aimed at defending national sovereignty, security and development interests, is not directed at any country, and represents growth in forces that favor peace. He called the report’s “strong-nation-must-dominate” logic a serious strategic misjudgment and urged the institution to stop hyping a so‑called China threat and to view China’s development objectively and rationally.
