Australian iron-ore miner Hancock Prospecting said it has made a major investment in SpaceX, saying the move reflects confidence in Musk and recognition of the importance of innovation. Hancock said it has no further plans to invest in the space sector beyond SpaceX.

Former BANK OF JAPAN chief economist Seisaku Kameda said a US‑Iran peace agreement is unlikely to change expectations that the BANK OF JAPAN will deliver two rate hikes this year. With inflation pressure rising, the bank is likely to lift its short‑term policy rate from 0.75% to 1.0% at Tuesday’s meeting.
