Guangzhou municipal party secretary Feng Zhonghua on June 15 outlined a package
of measures to boost private firms, prioritising new industrial tracks,
industry‑commerce integration, large‑scale pilots of new application scenarios
and support for SME digital transformation. The city will run a year‑round,
citywide investment promotion drive, stage supply‑demand matching events such as
Guangzhou Goods Go Global, and accelerate construction of major platforms
including Nansha and the Sino‑Singapore Guangzhou Knowledge City to amplify
Canton Fair spillovers and deepen private firms’ access to global value chains.
Beijing plans to upgrade maritime‑land‑air transport and cloud‑data‑network
infrastructure, advance the “Hundreds‑Thousands” programme, green urban projects
and urban renewal/urban‑village redevelopment to improve the operating and
talent‑attraction environment for businesses.
