A U.S. senior official said Washington understands Iran's parliament speaker Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf has been authorized by the Supreme Leader to negotiate and sign agreements.

China’s Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT) and Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs (MARA) have launched a 2026 selection of typical agricultural robotics application scenarios. The initiative targets three priority areas—crop cultivation, animal husbandry and primary agricultural processing—and focuses on seedling breeding, tillage, sowing/transplanting, field management and harvesting; feeding, breeding, animal-product collection, waste resource recovery and harmless treatment; and primary processing, storage and transport. The ministries will solicit and select advanced, high‑maturity, high‑impact and scalable robotic use cases and strengthen their promotion and deployment.
