Hikvision has notified dealers it will raise prices for its hard-disk drive
(HDD) products effective July 1, with the increase aimed at the dealer channel,
sources said. The company is also implementing earlier price increases across
other product lines ahead of July 1 and has urged dealers to lock orders and
prices amid volatile supply and pricing. Sources said the move reflects
explosive AI-driven demand; OEM HDD procurement quotes for Q3 are more than 50%
higher than in Q2, and further product price hikes remain possible.
