China's services production index rose 4.4% YoY in May, accelerating 0.1ppt from April, the National Bureau of Statistics said. By subsector, information transmission, software and IT services rose 11.3% YoY; leasing and business services +10.9%; finance +7.0%; transportation, warehousing and postal services +4.8%. The services production index was up 4.8% YoY in Jan–May. Revenue of above-designated-size service enterprises rose 6.4% YoY in Jan–Apr. The service business activity index stood at 50.3 in May and the activity expectations index at 55.4; railway transport, telecom/broadcast/satellite transmission and insurance reported business activity indices above 55.

Goldman Sachs cut its 2027 average Brent crude price forecast to $75/bbl from $80/bbl.
