Over 200 attendees included delegations from more than 20 U.S. states including Illinois, Iowa and Minnesota; U.S. industry groups such as the Heartland China Association, the US‑China Chamber of Commerce, the American Soybean Association, the US Soybean Export Council, the American Rice Industry Alliance and the US Grains & Bioproducts Association; major US agribusiness and retail firms including Cargill, Corteva and Walmart; roughly 15 US universities and research institutions including Harvard and Yale; and provincial delegations from Henan, Liaoning, Anhui, Hunan and Shaanxi.
