Market chatter said Caitong Fund was being raided and staff mobile phones and
computers confiscated, with some posts linking the episode to PCB-sector listed
companies. Caitong Fund staff told callers the firm’s rapid recent asset growth
may have prompted inaccurate reports, said they had no confirmed information of
a probe, and that any inspection would be routine internal work. The firm said
employees are working normally, no phones or computers have been seized, and it
has found no evidence of misconduct.
