ByteDance issued a nationwide request for expressions of interest (EOI) to build a framework pool of integrated testing and validation service providers for its self-built data-center facilities. It seeks vendors with large data-center testing capabilities. Required services include project documentation review, process inspections, equipment functional verification, room and subsystem performance testing, in-room system energy-efficiency testing, system integration testing and delivery of full test reports. Scope covers single-building delivered IT capacity of approximately 22MW–60MW.

Zimbabwe has approved construction of a second gold refinery in Bulawayo to purchase and process rising gold output; it is expected to begin operations next year. Currently all gold is sold through state-owned Fidelity Gold Refinery, but officials warn it may be unable to handle national output from next year. Zimbabwe targets 50 tonnes of gold production in 2026, up from a record 46.7 tonnes last year.
