LPL Financial chief equity strategist Jeff Buchbinder said investors are
watching the Fed’s new chair’s first press conference for signals on inflation,
unemployment and the economic outlook. The 10-year US Treasury yield is trading
around 4.43%. Buchbinder said the Fed least wants to see a sharp rise in the
10-year yield; keeping it below 4.5% is critical, particularly with oil prices
already down. He said investors should not expect the Fed to act quickly.
