The Netherlands on Wednesday announced €500m (~$580m) in weapons support for
Ukraine, with half (€250m) earmarked for the Ukraine priority needs list (PURL)
mechanism under which European allies procure U.S.-made weapons. The government
will separately provide €250m (~$290m) for drones, bringing total announced
support to €750m (~$870m). Dutch defence minister, meeting Ukrainian officials
in The Hague, said continued Russian attacks make air defence a heightened
priority.
