June 16 — Interbank Market Data Reporting Repository (Shanghai) Co. Ltd opened in Shanghai. PBOC deputy governor Zou Lan and Shanghai executive vice mayor Wu Wei attended. Zou said the repository will enable timelier, more accurate monitoring of overall market conditions, better support macroprudential management and macro policy, and marks a key step for risk prevention, strengthened supervision and higher‑quality development of the interbank market. Officials urged the repository to deliver high‑standard, high‑quality financial data to assist macroprudential oversight and financial market supervision and to support further development of Shanghai as an international financial centre.
