Shangong Shenbei said its subsidiary Shangong Feiren General Aviation (Weihai)
Co. held a ground-breaking ceremony on June 17 in the Weihai Torch Hi‑tech
Industrial Development Zone for a carbon-fiber composite structural parts and
light-aircraft manufacturing project. The JV with Weihai Hi‑tech Venture Capital
Partnership will occupy about 103 mu (≈6.9 ha) and will house carbon-fiber
composite part production, light-aircraft final assembly, R&D and sales as a
headquarters base.
