June 17 — Industrial and Commercial Bank of China (ICBC) president Liu Jun met Hong Kong Exchanges and Clearing Group CEO Chen Yiting to discuss support for Hong Kong as an international financial centre, RMB internationalisation and Greater Bay Area development. ICBC highlighted an expanded Hong Kong platform — including ICBC Asia, ICBC International and a Hong Kong foreign‑exchange funds trading centre — and said it will continue to provide cross‑border financing and trading, bond issuance and underwriting, wealth management, brokerage and asset‑allocation services, and to facilitate high‑quality mainland issuers listing in Hong Kong to support opening-up and bolster the city’s IFC status.
