On the 21st in Switzerland, Iran’s chief negotiator and parliament speaker
Ghalibaf met Pakistan PM Shehbaz Sharif and earlier held talks with Qatar’s
prime minister and foreign minister Mohammed. Discussions reportedly focused on
implementing clauses of the Iran‑U.S. memorandum of understanding — notably
Articles 1 and 11 calling for a halt to fighting on all fronts including Lebanon
and the release of $12 billion in frozen Iranian assets — and Article 6
arrangements for about $300 billion in reconstruction investment.
