China A-shares closed higher: Shanghai Composite +1.78%, Shenzhen Composite +2.13%, ChiNext Index +2.52%. Total turnover exceeded CNY3.7 trillion and roughly 2,900 stocks advanced. Cultivated-diamond names led gains, with Liliang Diamond among stocks locked at the daily limit. Financials jumped; Zhongxin Jiantuo and New China Life Insurance hit daily limits in the afternoon. Nonferrous metals saw a wave of limit-ups — more than 10 stocks, including Zhongwu Gaoxin, reached daily limits. Other outperformers included industrial gases, compute-leasing, electrical equipment and semiconductors. Underperformers included robotics, generic drugs, hotels & restaurants and tourism.

China's government bond futures opened in the morning: 2-year (TS) most-active contract down 0.01%; 5-year (TF) down 0.05%; 10-year (T) down 0.09%; 30-year (TL) down 0.30%.
