On June 22 the UN Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) released a global high‑risk agricultural map, warning a new El Nifio could form within weeks and pose a severe threat to crop and pasture production. Using 41 years of satellite imagery, FAO identified the Sahel, southern Africa, South Asia, Southeast Asia, Central America’s dry corridor and the Caribbean as highest‑risk areas, with some cropland and rangeland facing >50% odds of drought in the coming months. MOFCOM and eight other departments issued a notice on measures to boost auto aftermarket consumption, directing establishment of a formal management framework for vehicle modifications.
