June 23 — Shenzhen municipal party committee held a special meeting to
fast-track high-quality, efficient advancement of the city's "six networks"
planning and construction consistent with central and provincial directives. The
meeting called for targeted measures to raise the capability and standards of
the six-net plan. For the computing-power network, it requires systematic
planning and flexible supply: increase compute capacity, deepen compute
interconnection, and strengthen coordination between power and compute. For the
next-generation communications network, it emphasizes ubiquitous high-speed
coverage and integrated enabling: accelerate construction of national internet
backbone direct-connect nodes, push 6G R&D and commercial deployment, expand
dual 10G network rollout, and advance satellite network applications.
