Phison Electronics CEO Pan Jiancheng said NAND Flash supply remains tight and shortages are deepening. He expects supply-demand tightness in H2 to far exceed H1 and to worsen next year, warning the shortage will become a long-term, irreversible trend. Phison’s order book currently extends into Q1–Q2 2027.

Sinovac Biotech’s fully human anti-tetanus monoclonal antibody SNA02-48 injection has entered a Phase III trial, with the first volunteer enrolled at Shenzhen Second People’s Hospital. SNA02-48 was cleared for clinical use in March 2025 and is a recombinant fully human mAb for emergency post-exposure prophylaxis against tetanus. Sinovac is expanding a wound-care portfolio covering active and passive immunity: its adsorbed tetanus vaccine is market-approved; Sinovac-backed Xingmeng Biotech’s Class 1 innovative drug Krebi® (monoclonal antibody injection) is approved for passive immunization of adults exposed to rabies; Sinovac’s lyophilized human rabies vaccine (serum-free Vero cell) is in the regulatory filing stage.

People familiar with the matter say Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni is assessing holding the next election as early as April 2027, several months before the legal deadline at end-2027. She is concerned her support could weaken if the vote is delayed and that a late election would leave a new government insufficient time to pass next year’s budget before year-end. The proposal, one of several options under consideration, has been raised with President Mattarella’s office, which must dissolve parliament and call a vote.
