He urged Sanofi to leverage Shanghai’s strengths in basic research, talent, market scale and policy support to increase local innovative R&D, place more innovation and global-simultaneous development projects in Shanghai, and deepen cooperation with domestic biotech firms to strengthen the city’s pharmaceutical ecosystem.
