WuXi Biologics said its MFG17 biologics drug-substance plant at the Shanghai Fengxian campus completed its first GMP production. MFG17 is the company’s 25th global drug-substance facility and will provide scaled clinical and commercial supply for multiple biologics. The plant is equipped with multiple single-use bioreactors (SUBs), has 9,000‑liter capacity and is designed for about 80–100 drug-substance batches a year.
