JP Morgan will open a Hamburg office and move in around August or September,
extending its wealth-management presence across Germany. Post-Brexit the bank
established its European hub in Frankfurt; it also runs a local retail bank in
Berlin and opened a private-banking branch in Munich last year. Over the past
2.5 years JP Morgan’s private-banking adviser headcount in Germany has doubled
to a healthy double-digit level.
