June 25 — China A-share storage chip sector led gains, with multiple names hitting record highs. At the close 16 storage-related stocks, including Purun, GigaDevice, Demingli, Jiangbolong and Beijing Junzheng, were at all-time highs. Four leading stocks exceeded 700 yuan per share. Sector market value rose from about 1.23 tln yuan at the start of 2026 to 3.33 tln yuan at the close on June 25, a YTD increase of roughly 2.1 tln yuan; 13 stocks priced above 100 yuan accounted for about 1.75 tln yuan of that gain. GigaDevice’s market value is up more than 400 bln yuan. The increase is roughly equal to 1.4 times Kweichow Moutai’s market value.

Nasdaq futures opened 2% higher on Friday, lifted by after-hours gains in chip stocks including Micron Technology (MU.O).
