China's State Administration for Market Regulation said 550 national standards
will take effect July 1, including integrated intelligent-factory safety,
construction machinery and equipment safety, road traffic management,
wadding/fiber products, smart textiles, consumer laser pointers safety,
industrial greenhouse-gas emissions, green-product evaluation for water
purifiers and pallets, hearing-aid safety and lightning protection. The
regulator said the standards will support industrial transformation, production
and public safety, consumer protection and green, high-quality economic
development.
