June 22 — The State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission (SASAC) opened a quantum technology talent intensive for central state-owned enterprises in Hefei, Anhui. SASAC deputy director and party committee member Tan Zuojun attended and instructed implementation of Xi’s guidance and central government directives on quantum technology. He directed SASAC and central SOEs to accelerate construction of quantum talent and innovation spaces, fast-track quantum R&D and application, cultivate a cohort of quantum technology leaders, pursue enterprise-specific development paths, and concentrate talent to create collaborative clusters.
