At midday close, China’s main domestic futures contracts were mixed. Largest declines: 20# rubber down over 4%, polysilicon and lithium carbonate down more than 3%, and natural rubber, synthetic rubber, styrene and benzene down over 2%. Movers higher: platinum and apples up nearly 3%, liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) up over 2%, and low-sulfur fuel oil (LU), palm oil, Europe-route container freight, soybean No.2 and live hogs up more than 1%.
