President Zelenskiy said on the 28th Ukrainian forces conducted long-range
strikes in the early hours against two refineries inside Russia. He said the
Slavyansky refinery in Krasnodar Krai, about 300 km from the front, was hit, and
a refinery in Yaroslavl Oblast that was previously attacked in May was also
struck. Zelenskiy said operations will continue to “degrade Russia’s ability to
wage war” and reposted footage showing large fires and heavy smoke at both
sites.
