Preliminary data from the German Weather Service (DWD) show a Brandenburg weather station recorded 41.7°C at about 16:00 local time on June 28, marking the third straight day of national high-temperature records. DWD recorded 41.3°C in Saarbrücken on June 26 and 41.5°C in Merken-Drewitz on June 27.

The world's first and largest single-turbine tension-leg floating wind platform, "Haiyou Anlan" (16 MW), completed integrated assembly at Zhuhai Gaolan Port and departed yesterday under escort by Zhuhai maritime authorities for the Lufeng oilfield cluster waters off eastern Guangdong. The platform is over 307 m tall and weighs nearly 8,000 tonnes; its departure marks China’s deepwater floating-wind technology moving from demonstration toward scale and commercial deployment.
