June 29 — Shanghai and Shenzhen exchanges posted combined turnover of 3.518 tln yuan, down 34.66 bln yuan from the prior session. Shanghai turnover was 1.666 tln yuan (prev. 1.621 tln); trading volume 659 mln lots. Shenzhen turnover was 1.852 tln yuan (prev. 1.931 tln); trading volume 808 mln lots. GigaDevice led single-stock turnover at 43.15 bln yuan, followed by Zhongji Xuchuang 42.63 bln, BOE Technology A 32.49 bln, JCET (Changdian Electronics) 32.44 bln and Montage Technology 30.29 bln.

Morningstar analyst Jing Jie Yu said market uncertainty about potential capital spending by Samsung Electronics and SK Hynix may be pressuring their share prices. He estimates combined capex could reach about 2,000 trillion won over the next decade—roughly double Morningstar's current forecast—including SK Hynix’s planned AI data‑center investment, with pledged spending on the Yongin wafer‑fab cluster around 600 trillion won. Yu warned that if SK Hynix’s AI data‑center commitments are separate from its broader capex plans, the memory‑chip sector could face a material supply‑overhang risk because demand typically slows as a capex cycle matures.

China Huadian's Qinghai branch said its Delingha integrated high‑altitude solar–hydrogen–storage project — a 1 GW solar array with a 3 MW PV‑to‑hydrogen unit — has generated more than 4 bln kWh. The Delingha facility in Haixi, Qinghai includes a 3 MW hydrogen plant, a 330 kV step‑up substation and a 270 MW/1,080 MWh battery storage station. The project is among China's first large wind‑solar bases on arid/Gobi land and marks the country's first trial of green power‑to‑hydrogen at high altitude.
