HSBC said the dollar's rapid appreciation could become one of H2's biggest "pain trades." The bank expects gradual dollar strength through H1 2027 but warned that if the Fed signals readiness to tighten policy beyond current market pricing and geopolitical tensions re-escalate, the rally could become explosive.
