At the morning close, China’s main futures contracts were mostly higher. Lithium
carbonate rose nearly 5%; benzene gained over 3%; eggs, synthetic rubber,
low-sulfur fuel oil (LU) and styrene monomer (EB) were up more than 2%; asphalt
and PVC added about 2%. On the downside, platinum fell over 3%; SHFE gold, SHFE
silver and SHFE aluminum dropped more than 2%; SHFE nickel was down nearly 2%;
container freight Europe route, rapeseed meal, alumina, aluminum alloy and SHFE
lead declined over 1%.
