June 30 — China's A-share market closed H1 with cumulative turnover of 317.5 tln yuan, a half-year record. Single-day peaks also hit new highs: 3.99 tln yuan on Jan. 14 and a second-highest 3.76 tln yuan on June 22. The number of individual stocks with H1 turnover above 1 tln yuan expanded to 19, up from one (East Money) in 1H25. The list is dominated by hard-tech and AI compute-chain names: Zhongji Xuchuang led with over 2.83 tln yuan, Xinyisheng near 2.45 tln yuan, and GigaDevice ranked third. Cambricon, Lanqi Technology, Bewei Storage and other semiconductor names also feature prominently; of the top 10, only CATL and Zijin Mining are outside the AI supply chain.
