Midday close: China’s main commodity futures were mostly higher. Lithium carbonate led gains, up more than 8%; eggs rose over 3%. Benzene and synthetic rubber gained near 3%; 20# rubber, SHFE tin, PVC and styrene (EB) were up about 2%. On the downside, platinum and rapeseed meal fell over 2%; SHFE aluminium dropped nearly 2%. Soybean No.1, SHFE nickel, caustic soda, alumina, SHFE lead, SHFE gold, container freight on the Europe route and aluminum alloy declined more than 1%.

The US Treasury's Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) on Monday launched an online reconsideration portal allowing designated individuals and entities to submit delisting petitions and request non‑confidential information. OFAC said the portal will centralize and streamline a process that previously relied on lawyers, improving transparency and processing efficiency. The announcement noted it comes amid ongoing adjustments to US sanctions policy, with recent relaxations on some measures for Iran, Russia and Venezuela while new restrictions have been added on Cuba.

Credit Agricole CIB maintains a neutral view on US Treasury duration in its mid-year outlook. It cites strong US jobs and elevated inf putting upward pressure on US yields, supporting a neutral duration stance. The bank sees value in the mid-section of the yield curve and continues to expect the US yield curve to steepen.
