The Ministry of Industry and Information Technology and seven other ministries
issued Implementation Opinions on promoting high-quality industrial internet
development, calling for the industrial internet to be deeply integrated into
regional coordinated development and major regional strategies. The guidance
calls for high-standard construction of 5G+Industrial Internet
integrated-application city pilots, continuation of a "Hundred Cities, Thousand
Parks" campaign to embed policy, infrastructure, technology, products,
standards, services and enterprises into industrial parks, and scaled deployment
across advanced manufacturing clusters, national Torch innovation industry
clusters, SME specialized industrial clusters and national new-type
industrialization demonstration zones. It also requires that industrial internet
capabilities be included in planning and entry criteria for new industrial parks
and industry clusters.
