A-shares closed mixed: Shanghai Composite, which rose over 1% intraday, ended up
0.44%; Shenzhen Composite Index fell 0.53% and ChiNext Index dropped 1.89% after
a weak open. Turnover exceeded 3.5 trillion yuan and more than 4,000 stocks
advanced. Large financials led gains, with brokerages, insurers and internet
finance rallying. Innovative drug stocks recovered from session lows; livestock
and baijiu outperformed. Technology names retreated in the afternoon; CPO,
optical-fiber and high-speed copper-cable concepts were among the biggest
decliners. Photovoltaic equipment remained weak all day; Sungrow fell 13.9%.
