Iran’s deputy foreign minister and head of its technical negotiating delegation,
Gharibabadi, told reporters after a tripartite meeting in Doha with Qatar and
Pakistan that Tehran raised and reviewed alleged U.S. breaches of Article 1 of
the Iran‑U.S. memorandum of understanding on ending hostilities in Lebanon. He
said the delegation also discussed reports of increased U.S. regional military
equipment and force deployments and what Iran described as threatening,
interventionist U.S. rhetoric. Iran signaled the commitments in the MoU are
indivisible and announced it will form a supervisory team to monitor, notify and
review alleged violations via direct communication channels.
