Saudi broadcaster Al Arabiya reports sources say the next round of US-Iran talks is scheduled for July 18.

Sources say several major European governments now accept that vessels transiting the Strait of Hormuz will likely have to pay fees to Iran and Oman. Two people familiar with internal discussions said some form of service charge has become inevitable in the aftermath of a US-Israel-Iran war. They added some Gulf Arab officials privately share the view, though it may not reflect official government positions. It is unclear what type or level of fees states would accept. The US and Gulf Arab governments continue to oppose any fees imposed by Iran or Oman on passage through the strait.

Southbound funds net sold CNY1.974 bln today. Via Shanghai Stock Connect, Kingboard Laminates and Huahong Hongli were net sold HKD926 mln and HKD677 mln respectively; Alibaba-W led net buys at HKD896 mln. Via Shenzhen Stock Connect, SMIC and Huahong Hongli were net sold HKD1.205 bln and HKD1.043 bln respectively; GigaDevice topped net buys at HKD123 mln.
