Goldwind's Baldon wind-plus-storage project in Australia has secured
grid-connection approval for generator performance standards (GPS) from the
Australian Energy Market Operator (AEMO) and transmission operator Transgrid.
Phase one is planned at 360 MW of wind capacity paired with 132 MWh of storage
using Goldwind's DC-coupled wind–storage system, integrating turbines, batteries
and control into a single design to boost operational flexibility and grid
compatibility.
