At the morning session close, China’s most-active futures were mixed with losses
dominant. Shanghai crude (SC) slid over 5%; LPG and paraxylene fell more than
4%; PTA, fuel oil and methanol dropped over 3%; bitumen and synthetic rubber
were down about 3%. Gains: platinum rose over 5%, palladium nearly 3%, Shanghai
silver up more than 2%; rapeseed meal, Shanghai gold, lithium carbonate and
soybean meal gained over 1%, rapeseed up about 1%.
