July 3 — Chinese chipmaker GigaDevice and automotive electronics supplier Desay
SV reached a strategic cooperation agreement to accelerate commercialization of
domestically produced automotive-grade chips. The partners will leverage their
car-grade chip and automotive-electronics design capabilities to foster
upstream-downstream industry collaboration and support security and sustainable
development of the China automotive electronics supply chain. Under the
agreement they will deepen cooperation on memory and microcontroller product
lines.
