Sichuan authorities have ordered immediate, temporary full traffic control on
the G545 Mian‑Mao Highway between Mianzhu and Maoxian after the Mianzhu
earthquake, citing landslide and rockfall risks. The closure is effective on
release and will remain until road‑hazard inspections, emergency response and
road‑safety assessments are completed; reopening will be announced separately.
Both directions are closed to all civilian motor vehicles, non‑motorized
vehicles and pedestrians. Only credentialed emergency rescue, fire, medical,
engineering clearance and official command/assurance vehicles may transit. Road
users should plan alternative routes and follow on‑site personnel instructions.
