A senior U.S. official said Trump will arrive Tuesday for the NATO summit. His
first meeting will be with summit host Turkish president Erdogan. The White
House said he will also meet Syrian president Shala and hold a press conference.
Trump will meet Ukrainian president Zelenskiy on Wednesday to discuss ending the
Russia-Ukraine war; the official said the battlefield has largely reached a
stalemate and the president intends to push for a ceasefire as soon as possible.
The official added Trump will urge NATO allies to increase defence spending.
