The Office of the State Council Work Safety Committee, together with the Central
Political and Legal Affairs Commission, Supreme People’s Court, Supreme People’s
Procuratorate, Ministry of Public Security and Ministry of Justice, issued a
notice directing regions and relevant departments to intensify enforcement of
workplace safety. The notice orders implementation of Xi Jinping’s safety
directives and the national safety video conference guidance, tying enforcement
to the three‑year safety整改 campaign and major accident‑hazard inspections, and
directs focused inspections and enforcement in mines, chemicals, fire safety,
and industrial/trade sectors.
