July 2-3 — The National Data Administration convened an on-site meeting in
Beijing on medical data circulation within the national data-element
comprehensive pilot zones to review pilot experience and push secure, compliant,
and efficient use of medical data. The meeting said stronger top-level design
and institutional innovation are needed. Local practice shows jurisdictions that
strengthen organizational support and cross-department coordination achieve
better medical data flow outcomes. Authorities were told to tighten coordination
between data management and health departments, refine incentive mechanisms, and
mobilize hospitals, doctors and market operators to create a positive cycle of
medical data circulation and accelerate integration of Digital China and Healthy
China initiatives.
